Upon guidance from the university, the Government of the Balearic Islands establishes the minimum number of credits where students must enrol each academic year. 

Students embarking on a master's programme, or enrolling in a PhD training period regulated by Royal Decree 1393/2007 of 29^th October (available in the 'Regulations -> General Regulations' section), must enrol for at least 30 credits. This number includes adapted or recognised credits, where applicable.

Where students are granted part-time status, the amount drops to 15 credits (in accordance with relevant regulations).
